I'm in two minds about her movie version because I would have liked some back story but again limited by movies; they picked to focus their attention on Logan/Rogue/Jean associated to giving them loads of story. Professor X and Magneto necessarily didn't need any but wished that some others had focus *cough*Scott*cough*
so guess that's my opinion on Storm; not sure if it was needed like you said she was more background in the cartoons
At the same time on Storm being bitter about what happened to Scott
and hearing that Halle wanted more money; is that why Scott died and she was too take over from Professor X dying
Mainly am indifferent on Storm
thought Halle did a fantastic job and her taking over for Professor X makes sense, but at the expense of Scott
