HELLCATS is a coming-of-age drama about a you pre-law student (Aly Michalka, Bandslam)
whose world is turned upside-down when she loses her scholarship and has to join the college’s competitive
cheerleading squad. This fun, energetic series is a behind-the-scenes look at the drama, politics and pressure
surrounding the high school football program at a Southern university. Ashley Tisdale and Gail O’Grady co-star.

In "Hellcats," Tisdale plays Savannah, the captain of the squad.
"She's very driven, very focused. Cheerleading's been her whole life."
It takes Marty, the latest cheerleading recruit played by Aly Michalka,
to draw Savannah out of her shell.

"She's complicated," Tisdale says.
"In some scenes, I want to really go there with emotions and get emotional,
but she's really closed off, so I have to stop myself. It's hard to keep everything
inside, but she's that character. She's not open to everybody. She doesn't let anyone in."
