I agree, obviously I would want her love interest to be Lucas, but I wouldn't mind someone else for a brief time
I'm just not down for Maya/Josh at all. I just don't think you should encourage young girls watching to pursue older guys, I know that Josh is a decent guy & he's very likeable, but lots of 17 years old who date 14 year old girls are not decent guys.
