| The only thing I don't agree with is the FCC monitoring cable/satelite. Since you have to PAY for those, there is no need to.
I have no problem however with them monitoring broadcast television. The reason is that television stations do not own the airwaves. The public owns them. Therefore ABC, CBS, etc. have to follow the decency standards that are set forth. In essence, they don't have the RIGHT to show whatever they want; they have the PRIVELGE of showing stuff, as long as it follows the decency standards, which in all honesty are not that bad. |
