| You know, when I look back to 9/11 and watching the news practically religiously I remember thinking that things would get pretty bad for some folks (obviously not the ones who were relatives of the victims of the attrosity).
Thought there would be a war of sorts but to see the extent that Bush has used this to take away rights from everyday citizens which he claims to protect was never something I thought of.
I do agree that there was a need to clamp down but it's turned into something crazy.
This is only one of the many policies he's wanted to force on everyday people because of where his election money comes from.
The Patriot act was something I never thought would make it through but it did and even the name suggests a person as a traitor to their country for going against it.
That was brilliant in naming it that, perhaps naming an act that kills all gay people in a similar fashion could work so that anyone against it should be tried for treason.
