I think Jeremy deserves normality and happiness for sure, but with everything that had happened to him, he's far past it
To the point he prefers to do this than being at a normal art school
I think it's interesting, and the idea itself is more appealing than the other one

My only complaint is that even in the episode where Jeremy goes off to become a rogue vampire hunter, he still gets his ass kicked by vampires. Like... Okay? Yeah, I know they needed that to happen for 1) the whole Matt/Sarah/Enzo plot, 2) So Elena could worry, but that was just ridiculous. He should have kicked Enzo's ass.
