They had screentime, but most of the time it was more asking for favours and moving the plot along, instead of friendship scenes of them hanging out and enjoying one another's company.
Another friendship they could have done more to develop was Clark and Jimmy, but again they seem more interested in writing romances and triangles, instead of spending time on Clark starting to bond with another guy and becoming good friends
