I went to an old fashioned technical school and then worked for the Civil Service for about twenty years, as well as having a qualified librarian as a sister so my vocabulary is quite extensive. I also do a lot of crossword puzzles so am used to looking up words that I am not sure about.
My sister is a stickler for good grammar and correctly spoken English too.
