As shippers there are some things we don't like but have to endure.. it's part of the slow burn. Like "used to like" or "I knocked on your door and not hers". Jake needs to be with Sophia right now so he can grow up and so both him and Amy can see that he's just great at mature relationships.
I'm really happy with tonight's episode. At least now we know a tiny bit more about Amy's feelings for Jake. And we know that, even though he'll never admit, he is not over her.
Now, excuse-me. I'll freak out a bit more on tumblr while I wait for the episode on the bay of the pirate. After I rewatch I'll come back to comment on the others storylines.
