true about them knowing that they had a baby. But, if they gave up a baby right after birth and made it where they don't keep up with the kid (I believe it is called a closed adoption....if I remember correctly) then they wouldn't have known what the child looked like when they grew up, so it would have been a surprise to the girls....if it had been one of them.
