It's completely weird. I get that they want to establish these characters more on their own because last season Davina had the support system of Marcel and Josh. Now she's basically on her own and attempting to trust Koleb. Josh is now becoming a more prominent character - we're learning more about him aside from liking club music and being gay. It's great to see how he's struggling to find a purpose/reason to fight and knowing Aiden might help him discover the warrior inside himself.
I really want them to have scenes together, but it's great seeing them being established (especially Josh) outside of their friendship and as "real" people.
