Another thing that stood out was how excited she was to tell Mom about being on the team and the two shared a giddy moment...before Miles and Dad started arguing. Actually I think that's part of what made it so realistic. Kids get ignored in favor of their parents' arguments or siblings' bad behavior/accomplishments all the time. Actually I liked both the twins reactions. They've clearly been through meals like this a lot over the years. They've probably always felt like they play second fiddle to whatever drama Miles is involved with that day.
