I'm not sure that the red and yellow lightning (or whatever the heck it is
) necessarily mean that Barry traveled back in time and was there when his mother was killed b/c when Barry runs super fast he's got both red and yellow streaks behind him.
That being said, with Reverse Flash being a villain I'm pretty sure that he's not the one that supersped little!Barry away from the house to save him. It would be so heartbreaking for Barry to go back in time and realize that he can't save his mother b/c he had to save himself.
