I hope for that Season 10.
I don't find it that strange... I don't even remember if Kim knew about Jack being tortured in China.  It seemed like she cut him out completely until everybody tried to reach her again during Season 7, and that's when we got to see the new and improved Kim. So I really don't know if Kim even knew about that.
