USA's 'Suits' Season 4 'We're Done' Recap: Mike And The Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day

On tonight's episode of "Suits", a distraught Mike arrives home after having just been fired. Rachel tries to comfort him and tell him what happened with Logan, but he cuts her off.

The following day, Forstman offers Mike $1 million to work for him. After Mike tries to refuse, Forstman insists he think about it and let him know tomorrow.

At the office, Jessica tells Louis she wants to thank him for helping out Harvey, and Louis blurts out that he wants the firm to be renamed "Pearson Specter Litt". Jessica says it's not going to happen, so he revises his demand to telecommuting and more vacation time so he can try to get Sheila back.

Though Louis couldn't be happier (well, unless his name was on the firm's door), Jeff is displeased with Jessica for having Louis check up on his work behind his back. She tells him she trusts him, but not his work, and for good reason — Louis found problems with it.

Meanwhile, Donna informs Harvey that Mike has been fired and makes sure he knows he needs to support his friend. Harvey offers to set Mike up on some interviews, but Mike declines. He even asks Jessica if Mike can come back to Pearson Specter, but still smarting from her argument with Jeff, she laughs in Harvey's face. As a last resort, Harvey goes to see Jonathan and basically tries to bribe him to take back Mike, to no avail.

Mike goes to see an old friend, Stan Jacobson, who also lied about his credentials and ended up having to start a career over from scratch. (He first appeared in Episode 10 of Season 1.) Years ago Stan lied about having an accounting degree, but managed to work out a job figuring out baseball statistics with his BFFs. Mike wonders if he could do the same (not with baseball stats, but whatever it is he loves).

Feeling better about his situation, Mike's mood plummets when Rachel's guilt finally gets to be too much and she confesses she kissed Logan. Shocked, he immediately went to Logan's apartment and beat the crap out of him, though Logan managed to hurt Mike more with just his words.

Mike leaves Logan's and heads to see Harvey, who tells him he needs to stop and think things over before he does anything rash. He doesn't listen, of course, instead meeting Rachel at Pearson Specter the next day and demanding to know if the kiss meant anything to her. When he realizes it did, he says, "We're done," and leaves.

A devastated Rachel is discovered by Louis, who realizes what's important to him is Sheila, not milking his favor from Jessica for all its worth. Louis is determined to win back his ex, but his efforts are hindered when, after Forstman blackmails him over a money transaction, he decides he can't let Mike work for such a jerk. He tells Jessica he wants her to hire back Mike as his thank-you gift.

We're already cringing at how awkward things will be for these two now that Mike is returning to Pearson Specter. Judging from the promo for next week, in which Jessica realizes the SEC "witch hunt" is all about Mike, he might not be there for long.

Suits Recap: We’re Done
By Hannah Aven Guarin - July, 31st 2014

Suits” Season 4 Episode 7 “We’re Done” aired on Wednesday, July 30, 2014, at 10:00 p.m. on USA Network. Mike and Rachel broke up, and Louis hired Mike back on Pearson Specter. Read on to learn more about this episode.

Previously on “Suits” (“We’re Done” Episode 7), Mike (Patrick J. Adams) was on the lowest of lows. Jonathan (Brandon Firla) fired him, he broke up with Rachel (Meghan Markle) and Forstman (Eric Roberts) offered him a $1M bonus should he agree to work with him. In “Litt the Hell Up,” Forstman revealed to Jonathan about Mike’s dealings with him. This led to Mike being jobless. Donna (Sarah Rafferty) told Harvey (Gabriel Macht) about Mike’s situation, and Harvey was really like a big brother to Mike in this episode. He even offered to set him with five interviews with investment banks, but Mike declined.

Stan Jacobson (John Billingsley) was also featured in this episode. Like Mike, Stan lied about his accounting credentials. But now, he works on baseball statistics with his pals and cherishes his life. Could it be the same for Mike?

Mike, having thought about things over, finally realized that he wants to start all over again. He declared his love to Rachel, which made her feel guilty about the kiss she shared with Logan. Before we know it, Rachel was bursting into tears, revealing that she does not deserve Mike and that she and Logan (Brendan Hines) kissed. Mike was furious. He went to Logan’s place and a fight ensued. After which, we saw Rachel crashing at Donna’s while Mike went to Harvey. Harvey talked some sense on Mike. We hope he listens. Harvey even told him how much he admires what Mike and Rachel have because it is real.

For all the support he did for Harvey in the past week, Litt (Rick Hoffman) deserved a reward. Louis demanded upfront to Jessica (Gina Torres) what he wants as a reward : Pearson Specter Litt. Apparently, it was a no. Furthermore, Litt had his own shady dealings with Forstman. Forstman had him sign a doubtful document sealing his fate in the illegal endeavor he started. When he was about to leave, he bumped into Mike who was prepared to accept Forstman’s offer. Louis does not want Mike to work for Forstman, so he hired him at Pearson Specter. We think he did the right thing. It was so nice of him that he chose to help Mike than to claim his reward: to spend some time with and get Sheila (Rachael Harris) back.
