Yeah, I love the quote as well.
In that moment (when Clarke said "I need you"), I think those words were truly Bellamy's remedy. He was completely discouraged and menatally defeated at that point. He was gone (he wanted to runaway, he was begging for death).. and then Clarke tells him how much she needs him.. It was the beginning of his revival.
She's like his little cheerleader.
