I saw the movie and loved them. I think that they have a chance. I personally think that Tauriel has feelings for Legalos, but has resigned herself to not acting on them because his father would disapprove. Add me please.
And I agree, Legalos worked better for me in LOTR. He wasn't as cold and a lot more fun. Still, I flvoe him. He's one of my all time favorite movie characters.
