Yes, I think they'd raise them on Serenity. That ship is too much a part of Mal, himself, to let it go.
Sol - It'd be nice if Mal could leave his life of crime, but somehow I don't see that happening. I mean, can you imagine him with a menial job and settled?
Although, I'm sure Inara would have some words to him on that matter and maybe would force him to settle a little bit?
