no mention of going to Mystic Falls, I think, unless I missed it. Which is going to make that even more random IMO considering the fact that now he'd leave with all that power just conveniently missing. So a highly paranoid "king" of New Orleans is going to leave town, right after it was nearly destroyed with a crap-load of witch power missing, the same power that kicked his butt ( and Elijah's) and now added with his mom's and is just going to leave to back to Mystic Falls without figuring out's up? I mean, even if they want to say that he's going back to see Bonnie to see what she knows that's still weird considering I don't know how he'd figure out that Bonnie would know more about it than Sophie or Sabine / Celeste would since they are actually you know, IN NEW ORLEANS?... but anyways.

And unless KLaus magically knows that Bonnie is the anchor ( unlikely since no one in MF knew she was dead most of the freaking season) then that doesn't make that much sense either. And how would a phone call work, its not like he and Bonnie got along, etc... so the whole thing is just random, to me. I doubt any of them know that Bonnie is the anchor and I don't know why they'd figure that bonnie knows anything about what's happening half a country away. Not to mention it being even odder if its all about Katherine though at least there you have the back story and he and Elijah might go. So I'd prefer that but even that seems weird to me. I hate cross overs. I don't think I ever seen a cross over I cared for.

I hope Davina wakes up... I'm guessing she's dead though? Which sucks and that explains what Marcel is pissed off about in 1x12. So there is that. But that really sucks, I hope that she does come back.

Haley/Elijah = meh. I just have never felt the need for them to be romantic. But I understand that is probably not where the show is going so its all I say on that. Her walking away from him like that was interesting.

Rebekah... another decent episode from her. She's having a good run, IMO.

Marcel... felt bad for him. Can't imagine standing there watching something like that happen to someone you care about. So I get the anger, etc. And taking Davina... I mean, feeling desperate makes you do irrationale things and he was trying to look after her... the flashback was kind of weird though. He just popped up out of no where? Unless I missed something... but at least we got to see how they met.

Klaus...some might disagree but I do enjoy moments where he shows his caring to some degree. To me it fits a little better here than it ever did on TVD. Although the one part I did find funny is he was sad that Davina was dead and mentions hoping she'd wake back up but at the same time it was just a day or so ago where he tried to kill her by poisioning her... so on that one WTF? That was more like Klaus IMO on TVD where he tried to kill someone and then tried to buddy up to them and the cycle kept reverting. He's said she's dead but he tried to kill her a day or so ago? Sure, makes sense.

Sophie... until she broke down I thought was pretty good. The whole breakdown scene to me, was, meh.

Sabine/Celeste... decent Really interesting that Elijah had that talk about love to Sabine who is really Celeste and she had to have known who she was talking about. Could be interesting once Elijah finds out that his former flame is alive and well... though it does make me curious as to whom found her originally or if she just came back? Questions, questions...

Elijah... it was alright. The one thing that bugged me about the speech though was what about Tatia? The original love triangle chick. I mean, shouldn't that have meant that he was in love three times and not two? So that part of the speech bugged me. Because the whole point of them becoming vampires was that their mom didn't want him and Klaus fighting over her anymore which would imply at least that he cared a great deal about her and so his mom killed her and drank their blood as part of the spell.

And then you have Rebekah saying their mom was the most powerful witch ever... ok, I Guess. I mean, I'm not saying she wasn't but the same writers just had Silas be this big bad supernatural and former witch / warlock dude so I guess they're as found as the weather people of saying that something is as bad or as worse as ever.
