I think she always knew, but she just wouldn't let herself believe it. And when Wade called her out on it she had to face some truths although there are still a lot more for her to face especially about her being the happiest she's ever been. I recall her being a lot happier last season and not caring that George was moving on with Tansy. She can't say the same this time.
