People crackship in all fandoms all the time (I mean heck, Sheldon/Amy is my #1 OTP of all times but I still crackship Sheldon/Leslie and Howard/Amy way too hard), you can't just walk in here, have the nerve to question that, and then get all hot and bothered when people tell you you're being out of line.
