Ahh... but there are also some high school romances that do last and stay together for a long time so I never understood how if someone stays together outside of high school it doesn't seem to make it real. Yes it doesn't happen as often but it's there. So for me if they stayed together I would still see it as realistic. They would just happen to be two of the few who actually made it past high school.
But I do agree that things can change in high school pretty quickly and why I said things might change as time/seasons go on.
