One thing that I noticed was how unafraid they seemed as the cloud was hitting this time compared to last time. Obviously back then, when Regina originally unleashed the curse, she wanted to destroy everyone and imprison them, and it ended with Charming stabbed, Emma sent off alone in a tree, and Snow devastated and scared to death.
This time it's still so sad, but they've all come so far. Regina is undoing what she started to save everyone as best she can, and Emma won't be alone this time. It's nice to see Snow and Charming just calmly holding hands, together, and knowing what's going on and that everyone they love will be safe even if the situation is devastating.
I found it kind of touching even though the whole freaking episode made me cry
