Of course they are. They were completely supportive of a sire bond that literally stripped elena of her agency, forced her to obey damon, brainwashed her and allowed damon to abuse her, which then lead to her falling in love with him. Now that Elena has a fate which includes stefan (and clearly has free will and the ability to make her own choices, hence why she's now with damon), it's unnatural and forced? lol, they're delusional. If it was reversed and de were the ones who were fated together, i'm pretty sure they'd be fangirling to no end, since they already claim that de are twin flames
