That was quite a wild game with SMU coming back to tie the game. I still can`t stop thinking about that crazy two point conversion where Garrett Gilbert threw the ball literally from one side of the field to a wide open receiver in the end zone after scrambling around for at least 10 seconds. The Scarlet Knights did a good job of holding the Mustangs to only a field goal and then scoring the game winning touchdown in OT.

Awesome! The Huskies vs. Cardinal game yesterday was frustrating to watch. Stanford scored on the opening kickoff. Ridiculous how many penalties the Huskies had. Tough loss for Tennessee also
.

My condolences on the Huskies` tough loss to Stanford. They did a good job of taking the Cardinal`s offense out of rhythm at times in the game and had a chance to at least get in position for the tying field goal, but had a couple of costly drop passes that killed their chances.

As for Tennessee, the Vols really played their asses off against Georgia, but wasn`t able to come up with a defensive stop late in regulation and then fumbled the ball right at the goal line in overtime. That is a brutal way to lose. The Dawgs really showed a lot of grit pulling out such a tough win, but it was very costly as they lost three key players to knee injuries, which is going to be very worrisome for them as the season progresses.

The game between Ohio State and Northwestern was an outstanding back and forth battle featuring plenty of offense. The Buckeyes were fortunate to pull out the win, especially considering they got a gift touchdown to take the lead for good when Carlos Hyde`s elbow was down before the ball crossed the goal line. That was a terrible call by the officials.
