I think Donna can have both a career and make enough time for her kids. Eric would have to help obviously but women do it all the time nowadays. It seemed to me like Eric just wanted her to stay home and have babies. When they had the pregnancy scare he told her she could still have a career and sell tupperware
I wish Eric would have been more supportive about Donna's desire to have a career.
