It looks a bit like that, but I think they just wanted everyone to get into a kind of Avengers like fighting pose/stance and while that's relatively easy if the person is carrying some kind of actual weapon how do you achieve a similar effect for magic bearers? I would guess that we're meant to think of it as her flexing her fingers, so to speak, and getting ready to blast fireballs at the Lost Boys. That being said, I do hope she has at least a knife or something on her because if her magic suddenly goes wonky for some reason while they're in Neverland she's screwed.
