I wanted to see more of Carter/Serena during the show's run. Then Nate & Serena both single at the end of the "current" stuff, with a sort of 1x18 ending. And then a moment (that would be clear that would lead somewhere) during the FF. I just felt that the two of them both needed to go off & do their own thing for some (or all) of that 5 years.

I really thought Carter matched well with Serena, and Blake/Seb had great chemistry, I just felt like all of them (minus Chuck) could benefit from being single. So N, you're a SN shipper, too? or a Scarter shipper? I ship both (as well as Serena/Ben and crackship Serena/Jack).
