Skills was so protective of Jamie and would do anything and everything for him
Nathan and Haley never blamed Skills for what happened as they know just how much he loves their little boy. They're so grateful for Skills and the way he loves and takes care of Jamie, is always spending time with him.
If they had known the bond they would form then no doubt they would have considered Skills as godfather. But at the same time, Lucas had formed his own special bond with Jamie and was always there for him, loving and taking care of him so it would have been a tough choice between Lucas and Skills.
