His only allegiance is to his daughter. Anything else, it depends what's in it for him. Help the good guys, help the baddies.
Like, he refused to help David because a) his hat was destroyed and b) he was suffering from loss of Grace and unable to get the courage to find his daughter. He wasn't in any state of mind to help.
GAH! So I'm reading the Captain America comics (the new reboot) and it's so good. So great with Bucky/Winter Soldier and Bucky/Steve. I cannot wait for this movie.
