I get why Marco did what he did and I'm sure Snow does too, but he did betray her and the lie ended up separating her and her daughter. That's really painful.

I don't think this is a sign of her turning evil, but of her becoming more realistic. At Paley, Ginny said that Snow would develop a more evolved way of thinking when it comes to protecting her family. That doesn't sound negative to me.

But I could see David asking where is his pure as white innocent Snow. If anything I could see this maybe causing a problem for them.
For anyone else, this might not seem like a big deal, but for someone like Snow, it is because it goes against her beliefs as a good person so it hits her harder than it would anyone else.
