Hmmm...maybe Rumple just used her power. If he's an actual seer then he's a very poor one given how much he hasn't foreseen.
Usually the flashback portion of an episode is featured in the opening title card and we know the one for Manhattan will actually show the Manhattan skyline through the forest trees.
I would actually be pretty surprised if the flashbacks centered on Rumple since his main episode will be 2.16. They usually space out the episodes with different character flashbacks a bit more than that...
I know that 2.16 will be more about Cora, but this is the original Rumpelstiltskin story so I imagine he's going to be featured very heavily; not just a minor player in the drama like in the 2.12 flashbacks.
I wonder if the casting calls are for the same character, when she is a child and then when she grows older, and she will be the central player in the flashbacks. Very curious to see who this is and what role she will play in the Manhattan storyline.
