We now know the answer to who came first, September. Donald said it was a punishment, but not really! Who wants to be like those creatures? However, it it is so easy to become/stop being an observer like we saw with Peter, why didn't Donald find a new chip and become an observer to travel to the future and make the plan work? Right?
And how on earth didn't Donald know about the resistance and these tier one fugitives? We would assume they would be in the news, in fugitive alerts, in posters, etc. But no, they walk freely, with no disguises and no one recognises them. This part of the writing, together with no one caring to check the lab is really lame.
So, the reason there are no women observers is because they're not needed to produce those magnificent creatures

I loved seeing Michael Cerveris again, even if probably we won't see September again. But we still don't know why September was different from the others. Why did he have emotions?
