I don't mind Hook on his own but some characters are better off alone like Eric from true blood he is great on his own but put him with someone and he kinda gets dragged down .I think it would be the same with Hook let him be alone because if they pair him up with Emma they would have to change him water him down and make him a good guy .And we need at least one bad guy who stays in the grey area and who doesn't try to be good who stays evil.I just for once want to see a bad guy stay bad and not be romanticized by people .
