I have to say, it takes more than a face to interest me. I have to hear their voice, see them on the screen, notice if they have any charisma as an actor before I like someone.
I did see bits of Colin in a movie before seeing him on OUAT. The funny thing is I didn't know they were the same actor.
I thought he looked better in the movie than as Hook. Maybe it's the hair/facial hair. I don't know.
I would be all for someone like Richard Armitage guest starring on the show. He can smolder like no other.
I will have to be content with just having scenes with Emma/Gold. I will always think they have the most chemistry on the show and whatever happens in canon will pale in comparison (and likely not be satisfactory for me anyway). So, I suppose I'll settle for what fan fiction I can get and Emma/Gold in my headcanon.
