I think Po-Po is Meemaw's late husband. I took it to be his grandfather. I don't think he would have called his Dad that. He has always mentioned him in terms of being his father and never said that name for him before.
I think he may have loved his Po-Po a lot as well as his Meemaw, but more important wanted his Po-Po back for his Meemaw. I could so see Sheldon wanting that.
