I like that theory as well. Watching Hook chop off his own hand would be NUTS! But it would make the character incredibly interesting and it would once again show just how cunning Rumpel can be with his tactics. Why kill him when you can just have his soul sucked out? So much cleaner. I'm also excited to see more Belle and Red. A recent behind the scenes photo showed them onset together. Spoilers suggest that there may be a friendship starting between the two.
