Its all public perception I mean many thought Will Arnett and Amy Poehler would last and were very happy together and well we all know that's not true they're getting a divorce. We only know what they show in public.
Hollywood relationships rarely last if at all if anything its probably better to just be friends. Very few make it work.

Sorry, Dawson’s diehards, there won’t be a reunion!
Joshua Jackson, 34, sparked rumors of a reunion when he said he and former on-screen love Katie Holmes, 33, recently talked on the phone. (A rep for Katie confirms the business call.)
But In Touch can reveal their chat was in fact about another TV show. “Josh called to see if Katie had gotten a call from James Van Der Beek to do a Dawson’s reunion on his new show,” a source close to Joshua and James tells the new issue of In Touch. “James wanted them to come on his ABC show The B---- in Apartment 23. But they’re too busy.”
Though Katie and Joshua are no longer co-stars, the pair are still very close, and “obviously one didn't want to do it without the other.” But neither could make it work for their former co-star. "They have a million things going on in their careers," the insider adds. “James was bummed.”
