Well, in Wicked, Elphaba (the Wicked Witch)'s father is the Wizard. But then again, that's a completely different story, just as this is a completely different story and just Disney's take on the whole thing. Since my love for Wicked began, I always get mad watching The Wizard of Oz, because of how the Wicked Witch is portrayed. She's not wicked, she's just misunderstood.
But obviously, it's all fantasy, so I shouldn't let it get to me.
But having Theodora be Dorothy's mother (& possibly Oz the father) would be an interesting take on things.
