I hate when people say things like "Just get over it.." you don't get over something like that, but you learn to adapt and how to manage your emotions around it. Even though she may not be too affectionate, the most important thing is verbal communication, simply telling her daughter how much she loves her, which I'm sure she already does!

A Titanic themed party sounds like fun. There have been so many Titanic specials on TV this week! Mostly because today/yesterday evening, is/was the 100 year anniversary of the sinking.
