| Hey Girls! (and guys, too)
I'm thrilled that you guys support me and my character as much as you do! I've read every page of this thread this morning and I'm honored to have your admiration and respect, It's mutual, believe me. So, before I begin, I just wanna send my shouts out to my peeps (I wonder if I'm too much of a dork in real life to talk like that?) and they are:

I apologize in advance if I've misspelled anyone's names or if I've left anybody out! I don't often have time to get on my computer for longer than 3 minutes a day, but today (the rest of the week, actually) I'm not filming on VMars and I had a little bit of time to be snoopy on my puter. I really, really, mean this sincerely:
Thank you guys for the support. I know some of you have contacted my email at michaelmuhney.com and some of you have gone even further and contacted Rob Thomas in support of me. I can't tell you how much this means, I am also wondering if it's because of your support I'm in the show more this year. It could be that, it could be Rob's enthusiasm about my portrayal of Lamb, or it could be coincidental and I just happen to be in a lot more eps this year. Either way, I'm loving working on the show this year. We're currently filming episode number 4, I don't have to be back on the set again until mon-tues-wed to finish it up and then we move on to ep 5. I saw Rob Thomas yesterday at his office and he mentioned that I won't be in EVERY ep like I have been, but hopefully after ep 6 I only go away for 1 or 2 at most, not 4 or 5 hopefully. I mean, I'll always be around Neptune, I just want to be around more often. It's too much fun working on that set!! BTW, Caro, I just HAVE to see this video you made of me! Everyone who is posting here is raving about it, I'd love to see it! Well, you can definitely count on seeing me (so far) in eps 2 through 6. I am a bit dissapointed that I didn't appear in the season opener but that is just personal ego talking, I should be thankful that I have such a wonderful part to play this year. I am blown away at how much good stuff they've given me this year, so far.
Slight spoilers follow...
You'll see plenty of me in the 2nd ep, you'll see me in ep 3 just once (but a very "snarky" scene with Veronica) you'll see me in ep 4 twice and then ep 5 a lot more and I haven't read ep. 6 yet but from Rob's lips to your ears Sheriff Lamb will be "all over the place" in ep 6. Because they haven't written any further than ep 6 I can't be sure of how much (or little) I'll be around. Don't worry, I don't go away, like I said, I'll always be around the show, but I guess I won't keep up the furious pace of being in 5 out of every 6 eps throughout the entire 22 ep season. Personally, I would love, Love, LOVE to be in 16 or more. I guess you guys could go crazy with starting up a "we want to see more lamb" rally and send it Rob's way via emails and such. You know I'm kidding, right? Or am I?
Okay, moving on, it's really great to read that you girls (I'm assuming you are all girls, but if there's guys, c'mon, join the party!) are appreciating my smart-ass-iness so much in the show. I made a conscious effort in season 1 to tone it down in certain eps and pump it up in others so that I would appear multi-dimensional and not just a hate-monger. This season, in my opinion, the writers have found a voice for Lamb that really balances all the great stuff I love to portray. I have found some fun little ways (with mannerisms, improv, etc.) to pump up the snarky/fun side of Lamb this year. The response from Rob is very positive and I feel very comfortable in my Lamb shoes. Oh man, oh man, just wait till you see what they have me doing, not just me, though, the whole show, everyone!
I really can't thank you all enough for being fans when you don't need/have to be. I guess most people overlook Lamb as an essential character of the show and that makes me a little sad. Just because I'm not in the promos doesn't mean anything. So, you guys see what I wish more people saw. Hopefully this year that changes somewhat and more people can jump on the Lamb bandwagon and then, in turn, email the heck out of Rob Thomas about me!
Warner Bros. and VMars production has asked that next Wednesday I join the cast and throw out the first pitch at the San Diego Padres game. That really made me feel great because slowly but surely I'm being included as a primary character. Wow, I am really opening up here, aren't I? Did I mention I found this fanforum.com website and forum page all by myself? I have really loved reading what you all have written, and furthermore, I'm impressed with how much you guys are catching on t.v. of me and then mentioning those things like Boomtown (my fav. performance), Charmed, A Will Of Their Own (which you can buy at BestBuy in the under $5 dvd section), Without a Trace (all that burn make-up, OW!), and this December 2 through the 5th T.V. Guide is hosting the top 100 moments in television history (I think on the E channel or something, I can't remember, but info will show up about it on my website soon) and I'll be appearing in a clip they are using from ER where the doctor gets his arm cut off by the helicopter. I was the guest star refusing to be put on the helicopter because I was deathly afraid of flying and his wild arm gestures during the scene made him pay dearly! You can rent me from Hollywood Video (or buy) a dvd of Love 101 if you want to see my very first film project right out of college and might I add (to those who are posting about me with my shirt off) there's a scene with my shirt off, tee hee. Also, a warning, the movie is just OKAY. Obviously you can check out everything I've done on my website so I'll shut up about all of that. I am just so surprised how much you all are catching of me on t.v.! Anyway, sit tight, get ready for the ride of your life with VMars season 2. Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you for your support! I seriously wish I could give each and every one of you a big hug of appreciation for all you've said.
I'm not sure the next time I'll have a moment to play around on my computer again, but I'll be back to say "hi" occasionally or just read what you all are saying.
