In that interview in Sweden last year, he said that it was no suprise that he asked Whitney Houston to be with him in The Bodyguard because when he was a
younger he fell in love with Diana Ross. So basically, he was hinting that once he
matured as a man, he fell in love with Ms. Houston.

But I think in the case with Whitney, he really,really fell in love--- not just a temporary fancy.
