I would actually love for Bonnie to kind of take her own side in the battle against Klaus, if she has her own agenda I think that will show in her interactions with the Salvatores and the Originals. She is a powerful witch and if everyone can see that I think they will see her in a new light instead of only viewing her as "Elena's friend".
