The Hunger Games hasn’t even hit theaters yet, but the German Amazon site already has the DVD and Blu-Ray available for pre-order, with a release date listed as August 23, 2012. The US Amazon site does not have a release date listed for the DVD.
While not official confirmation of the DVD release date, August 23 would be five months after the theatrical release, which seems to fall within the 3-6 month window we usually see between theater and DVD release.
