manu, i'm just talking about happiness, in general, and the lack there of concerning brian. i really don't know how else to put it. why happiness has to be divided into subcategories in order to define itself, idk, but the minute justin says yes, brian is not happy. once. i don't think, anyway, which to waste a whole season building up to this moment, feels like a letdown. i mean, how can you give a person exactly what they want only to make them regret that choice a minute later? plus, everyone else ends up exactly where they want to be, so i refuse to believe that brian being more emotionally stronger/vulnerable is a victory. it's character development we already saw through seasons three and four. not that i don't love the finale, b/c i do, it's just there is a difference between emotional evolution and happiness.
