Seamus was incredible tonight, it was a fantastic performance. The rest of the cast were playing off him so well too. When he leaned over the table to talk to Philip he really showed just how angry Ryan was feeling. I'm so glad he got given this chance to show how good he really is.
I'm so glad we got to see him and Beckett talk more, usually we don't see that as much but it's nice to see their friendship there too, and how much she cares for him.
I liked that the Gates didn't jump in this week expecting them to have caught the killer immediately. That was a little nicer to watch.
And I loved that Castle's fears over not being an actual cop were allayed by Beckett at the end telling him he was thinking like a real cop. I think he really needed to hear that, and coming from her, who'd inadvertently made him doubt himself earlier, (the 'it's a cop thing line') made it even better.
