i didn't find it weird but rather lame, like the guy has barely friends that he had to pick a kid
paul would have been the most obvious choice then eventually nathan or mouth, i would have loved to hear what they would've said about brooke (especially nathan)
but writers took too much time to make julian hang out with the guys plus they were all on their "sensitive julian" thing (which i hated) but now he seems closer to the guys which is great but he has less scenes with jamie which isn't
