the main job of an aunt/uncle is to be cooler than the parents, just because they don't do what parents tell them, it doesn't mean they are direspectful, like come on !
and you're right about quinn, until now, we had no idea about their relationship like when taylor came, she didn't even had a scene with him, i think the difference is that jamie spend time with quinn kinda because he "has" to, you know most of the time, she's basically babysit him but he's with brooke, it's actually HIM who wants to hang out with her/or julian
