Ok I'm trying to remember two songs names and who sings them. I remember the music videos and I believe both bands are all male.

The first one was a few years ago, it has a girl who wants to dance, I think ballet. But her parents don't understand her dreams and don't support her. So she decides to run away and follow her dream. Her little brother sees her go and I think the lyrics are something like, "this is my life I hope they understand" or something like that. I think a lot of people assume the song was about suicide, but the band said no.

The second one I want to say is by Lifehouse, but I'm not sure. The lead singer is singing going through a tunnel. There has been a major car accident at the opening of the tunnel and you see a crowd gathering. The singer walks through and see he is one of the dead. Then it has him trying to stop himself from driving to the accident and dying.

I know I know these songs, they have been on the tip of my tongue
