Well, we're on the same boat (really!), 'cause I definitely didn't buy the H/G thing. But for the love of God, love potion? No, no, my Ginny wouldn't do that. She knows what she wants (although Harry took the first step) and I don't think she'd go that way.
I can picture Voldemort killing Ginny, but not just to attack Harry, but to please himself. Tom & Ginny have a history, for God's sake! Well, I'm just babbling now.
As for H/L, I totally picture them in a angsty scenario. Harry will seek comfort in Luna, because he knows she won't judge him. She's the only one who can really listen to his words and understand him in his silence.
